shopping w/ the girls 9/15/24

late asl on saturday night i got a facetime call from steph and geselle. steph planned on going out to orland and tinley to search for this trending juicy couture tote and wanted us to come with her. now that i'm thinking about it she probably just wanted me to drive her (she has an irrational fear of driving long distances) our schedules miraculously lined up and we were all going to be free on sunday.

the next morning we got up early and headed out to stan's donuts in orland. it was my first time ever having stan's and i really enjoyed it. i got a savory spinach and feta pastry with a strawberry matcha. after that we headed over marshalls to search for the bag. she didn't find the tote there but found another juicy bag she liked more so we were done with the juicy search. then we went into barnes & noble so i could find This Ravenous Fate by hayley dennings. she's an author who's book journey i'd been following for about 2 years now and it's finally been released. at the moment i'm just going off the premise of 1920's black lesbian vampires so i'm praying that it's good.

then we went into orland mall so i could buy the red sweater i had been thinking about for weeks. i'm honestly proud of myself for putting real thought into a purchase and not just buying it when i had first seen it. we also hit a few other stores like urban, sephora, and coach. i was able to see that viral brooklyn bag in person and contrary to popular belief it's not too big, i think height definitely plays a huge factor in someone's experience with it. finally to end our day off we got lunch at the food court and reminised about the time i almost died while eating a korean corndog.

the end.

sike my dumbass FORGOT that i had picked up a midday shift at the rainbow cone so i had like less than an hour of rest and relaxation before i had to go clock in.
