physical media era

so first things first, i finished my 3rd book of the year!!! i read bookshops & bonedust which is the prequel to legends & lattes (an obvious fact i didn't figure out until the epilogue). i was actually so gagged when i tandri popped up and it finally clicked that this  viv is the same viv from L&L. anyway it was a cute lil origin story and i rated in 4 stars. now i have moved onto another romantasy (shocker) called the absinthe underground. currently i'm about 100 pages in out of 300, it's a short one, and from the first few pages i could tell that it was written for people 5 years younger than me. like from the first paragraph i could tell that this book is meant for an audience much younger than me. and lo and behold the publisher is literally called peach teen publisher😭😭 i'm still gonna finish it obvi but i wish the tiktoker had mentioned that it was a teen book like how people call books YA. I was definitely expecting a more mature and complicated story.

also today ava and i went to micheals in search for some flowers to stick on my kitten heels but my heels happen to be made of the most desaturated fucking pink ever made and it was damn near impossible to find a color that went with the shoe. i'm mad asf cause i was so ready to come home and get my diy on but noooo. anyway determined to spend some money we went to disc replay, (kinda smelled like piss today cause of the heat and nonfunctional AC) i didn't find anything but ava got a plushie. then we headed over to 2nd & charles and i was able to find two books on my tbr!! lowkey i'm so glad sapphic books are underrated and overlooked cause GoPaF was $9.00 😁

i've also started my physical music media collection. when i was in toronto i picked up a beyonce self titled CD and took my layover CD out the box and put it on display. i plan on burning some all of my playlists onto CD's at some point this year.
