so there is a very large gap between this post and my last one. that's because i have been in somewhat of a rut for like the past 2 1/2 weeks. i could barely do anything but get up, go to school, and do some dishes. but i am feeling much better now. at the moment i am currently in the home stretch of this semester with only a few assignments left. i feel much better about this semester than i did around this time during the fall. although i won't be finishing with straight A's i'll be finishing strong regardless.
in other news i found a new online workspace to obsess over. it's called milanote and it's like notion but instead of day to day things it's meant for projects. like no shade to notion ofc i will continue to use it but i'll definitely be using it to map out all my long term projects.
i found out a milanote through a artist's video on youtube. i've been watching a lot of those since i've officially restarted my drawing journey. i realized that there's no point in me putting this off any longer and finally blew the dust off procreate. (i also realized that my off-brand stylus doesn't have any pen pressure so i need to get a new one)
i also finished my resume and have applied to two library jobs. mr. manbun at the library recommended that i go on "rails library jobs" to find some employment opportunities. so far i haven't heard anything back but fingers crossed. (and if i don't hear anything soon i'm just gonna start going around to small businesses with copies of my resume)
other life updates include: these shorts i ordered from 'fuzz shop' have finally been shipped, i STILL haven't finished jasmine throne, and ameyah and i are officially going to megan thee stallion's concert on the 19th!!!!
